Summary of Responsibilities
At Pink Door Cookies, we create and share the most delicious, nostalgia-inducing cookies you will find anywhere. As a PDC Brand Ambassador, you’ll help us with this mission. In this role, you’ll be on the frontlines, meeting and hanging out with PDC fans, at festivals, farmers’ markets, and other events while helping them enjoy the full range of cookie flavors we make at Pink Door Cookies.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Learn about our products and provide accurate information about their features and pricing to our customers.
- Greet customers as they enter the store or proximity of booth or tent
- Accept payment for goods, make change, and issue receipts
- Use cross-selling or upselling techniques to increase store sales
- Support customers by answering product questions
- Recommend the best products to customer palates
- Deal with customer feedback and general inquiries
- Give customers service information including product details
- Identify, investigate and deal with customer issues accordingly
- Assist in maintaining inventory stock and records
- Assist in setting and attaining sales goals
- Arrange displays to help products look the most appealing to prospective customers
Education and Experience Required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Exceptional customer service skills and positive attitude
- Strong desire to learn the ins and outs of Pink Door Cookies and commit to the growth of Pink Door Cookies
- Obsession with punctuality and being reliable
- Passion for quality, safety, and sanitation
- Ability to work independently in a clean and organized fashion.
- Must be coachable and have a strong work ethic with a commitment to excellence and love for being creative, inspirational, and hard-working
- Positive attitude and contagious enthusiasm for community, people, and Pink Door Cookies’ values
- Must know how to use Google Sheets and Docs and Microsoft Office products.

- Must be 18 years of age or older

Physical Requirements and Working Environment Conditions
- Must be available to work weekends and irregular hours, when required
- Must be able to stand for up to 4-8 hours per scheduled work day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. or more (for moving equipment at events)
- May occasionally be required to taste and smell baked goods
- Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift
- Frequently required to use hands and arms to handle, feel, lift, and reach
Compensation and Perks
- Part-Time
- $15 – $20 per hour, depending on experience
